MARKER AND PENCIL DETAILS
Both the marker and pencil writing can be removed after heating. For best results, it is highly recommended to place the labels as close to the top of the bottle as possible. Heating elements in the bottom of warmers and similar devices can set the ink if the labels with writing are positioned too low.
These are the only writing utensils recommended for use with our labels; using anything else is not guaranteed.
SEMI-PERMANENT MARKER
After writing on your label with the semi-permanent marker it takes just seconds for the ink to dry. The ink can be easily removed with water, so you can simply dry the label and write again. However, be mindful that condensation will cause the marker writing to smear and come off. If your bottles have condensation, we recommend using the wax-based pencil instead.
WATERPROOF PENCIL
Our waterproof pencil is a wax-based option that makes writing on any of our Write-On Labels easy. Once you’ve written on your label, you can remove the writing by rubbing it off with a clean rag or paper towel, making it ready for use again.
NOTE: The waterproof pencil is waxed based. If you have pencil residue remaining after wiping just add a drop of grease cutting dish detergent, such as Dawn® Dishwashing Detergent, to a rag and wipe it clean.
Remove any writing from your write-on labels before placing in the dishwasher or sterilizer.
