MARKER AND PENCIL DETAILS
Both marker and pencil writing can be removed after heating. For best results, place the labels near the top of the bottle. Heating elements in the bottom of warmers and similar devices can set the ink if the labels are positioned too low.
These are the only writing utensils recommended for use with our labels. Using any other writing tools may not guarantee the same results.
SEMI-PERMANENT MARKER
Once you write on the label with the semi-permanent marker, the ink dries in just seconds. It can easily be removed with water, so you can dry the label and reuse it. However, be mindful that condensation can cause the marker to smear or come off. If you notice condensation on your bottles, we recommend using the wax-based waterproof pencil instead.
WATERPROOF PENCIL
Our waterproof pencil is wax-based, allowing smooth writing on any of our Write-On Labels. Once written, you can easily remove the writing by rubbing it off with a clean rag or paper towel, making the label ready for reuse.
Note: The waterproof pencil is wax-based. If you notice any pencil residue after wiping, simply add a drop of grease-cutting dish detergent (such as Dawn®) to a rag and wipe it clean.
CARE
Before placing your items in the dishwasher or sterilizer, make sure to remove any writing from the labels to maintain their quality.
