• Not compatible with: Silicone or rubber
• Dishwasher safe: Top rack only — avoid sanitary cycles. For metal items, hand wash only.
• For heated items: Place labels as close to the top of containers as possible, away from direct heating elements
• Avoid: Bleach and essential oil-based dish soaps (including DAPPLE®) — these can cause fading or adhesive failure

Every set comes with both tools so you can choose the right option for how you're using the label that day:

• Wax-Based Waterproof Pencil — Writes smoothly and removes cleanly with a dry cloth or towel. Best for wet conditions — won't smear from condensation. The go-to for daily daycare labels and meal prep containers that get wiped and reused.
• Semi-Permanent Marker — Dries in seconds for a longer-lasting write. Removes easily with water when you're ready to update. Condensation will cause smearing, so reach for the pencil on anything that gets wet.
