Care

For dishwasher use, we recommend placing labels on the top rack and avoiding sanitary cycles. Be cautious with bleach and detergents containing bleach additives, as these can cause premature fading. Additionally, avoid detergents with essential oil additives (such as DAPPLE®), as they can also lead to fading and adhesive failure.

When sending items to daycare that will be heated, position the label as close to the top of the milk container as possible, directly beneath the nipple ring. This helps keep it away from the heating element, as excessive heat may set the writing if the label is too close. Remember to remove any written notes before placing containers with labels in the dishwasher to maintain their quality.

MARKER AND PENCIL DETAILS

Both the marker and pencil writing can be removed after heating. For best results, it is highly recommended to place the labels as close to the top of the bottle as possible. Heating elements in the bottom of warmers and similar devices can set the ink if the labels with writing are positioned too low.

These are the only writing utensils recommended for use with our labels; using anything else is not guaranteed. Markers and pencils can be added to your label order when customizing your labels. If you need to order multiple sheets of labels but only require one set of markers and pencils, you can purchase them separately here.

SEMI-PERMANENT MARKER

After writing on your label with the semi-permanent marker it takes just seconds for the ink to dry. The ink can be easily removed with water, so you can simply dry the label and write again. However, be mindful that condensation will cause the marker writing to smear or come off. If your bottles have condensation, we recommend using the wax-based pencil instead.

WATERPROOF PENCIL

Our waterproof pencil is a wax-based option that makes writing on any of our Write-On Labels easy. Once you’ve written on your label, you can remove the writing by rubbing it off with a clean rag or paper towel, making it ready for use again.

SAFETY ALERT

Labels are removable with intent. Children should be supervised at all times.
