Are stick-on clothing labels machine washable?

Yes — our original Peel ‘n Stix stick-on clothing labels are fully machine washable and tumble dryer safe. They apply to the care tag or tagless imprint of the garment, not directly to the fabric. Apply 24 hours before the first wash, and they’ll hold through repeated laundry cycles without peeling. They’re designed to come off with intentional effort when you need to remove them — for passing clothing down to a sibling or returning borrowed items — but they won’t come off on their own in the wash.

Can I use iron-on clothing labels on tagless clothes?

Yes — iron-on clothing labels bond directly into the fabric, making them perfect for tagless clothing. Press onto any iron-safe fabric for a permanent, soft bond that sits flush with the garment surface. For stick-on clothing labels on tagless items, apply the label to the largest part of the tagless imprint printed inside the garment. Yes — type “Split” in the name field at checkout and list your children’s names in the Special Request box. We’ll divide the sheet evenly between the names and sort them by child. Each child can choose their own design. Our clothing labels come 48 per sheet, and a split between two children gives 24 labels each — enough for a full set of school uniforms, socks, and daily wear for most kids.
